Route

The Romantic Road leads you to the most beautiful spots of Austria.

Near St. Wolfgang you can follow the route past Hallstatt, Bad Aussee, Stift Admond Monastery, Mariazell and Schallaburg Castle to Vienna.

Or you can pick the option via Bad Ischl, Gmunden, Almtal, Kremsmünster, Steyr to Vienna.

Both alternatives offer a varied landscape and great cultural highlights.

Ideally you travel the trail in a loop.
