Traunkirchen – Gmunden (9 km)
From Traunkirchen, B 145 Road winds along the shores of Traunsee Lake to Altmünster. There, take in the stunning views of lofty Traunstein Peak, Traunsee Lake and Ebenzweier Castle (which today houses a vocational school). And don’t miss out on tasting fresh fish caught straight from the lake and grilled on a wooden skewer, a local specialty. Turn right on the northern end of Altmünster at Solarbad and drive along Toscana Park and past Orth Lake Castle to the town center of Gmunden.
